How to have two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone is one of the most Googled terms related to WhatsApp. If you like or have a dual Sim phone and want to have both numbers on WhatsApp, you are just in luck because it’s now possible more than ever.
You have three options to achieve this; you can use WhatsApp Mod, your phone’s default clone app or Parallel Space.
WhatsApp mod
Download GB WhatsApp, Yo WhatsApp or WhatsApp Plus. Upon installing the app, you will later see the familiar WhatsApp activation screen you already know. Put your phone number and activate. Please note that WhatsApp mod apps are only available outside the Google Play Store so proceed with caution. You can read more about mod apps here.
Default clone app
If you are using a Xiaomi, VIVO, OPPO, Huawei or Samsung, then you are in luck. Your clone apps go by the names below:
Xiaomi– Dual Apps
VIVO– App Clone
OPPO– Clone App
Huawei– App Twin
Samsung– Dual Messenger
Go to your phone settings and select the Dual Apps/App Clone/Clone App/App Twin/Dual Messenger or whatever default cloning app your Android has.
You will find a list of apps that support cloning and then select WhatsApp. Open the cloned version of WhatsApp and activate it.
The video below shows specifically how to use a third party cloning app called Parallel Space to achieve two WhatsApp accounts, watch the video below.

Conclusion
Both methods of having two accounts on a smartphone are easy to understand and do. It’s important to remember that mod versions of WhatsApp are not official, so installation should go on with caution and most phones running Android 7 or better have default cloning app functionality.
