By TopStar Zambia bouquets are 3 in total and give subscribers access to over 55 digital TV channels. TopStar is a terrestrial pay-tv service that is a joint-venture between ZNBC and StarTimes – this was due to a directive by the international broadcasting regulator for all broadcasters to go digital by 2020. ZNBC did not have the technical resources to go digital solely; as a result, the merger with StarTimes came to be.
TopStar is only available in Zambia
Access to TopStar service is only available in Zambia due to its terrestrial technology. Although terrestrial TV coverage is limited to areas where transmitters are present, TopStar is accessible all over the country thanks to the many ZNBC transmitters.
The terrestrial TV has limited space to fit channels and is the cheaper alternative. However, if a subscriber wants access to more channels, she can buy a satellite TV service like StarTimes or DStv – satellite has broader coverage than terrestrial.
You need to pay to gain access
Since TopStar is a terrestrial pay-tv service, you need a decoder, antenna, and a subscription to access channels on the platform. Just as is the case for its terrestrial counterpart from Multichoice, GOtv, access to channels on the platform is tiered in the form of bouquets. The three bouquets on the platform are – namely – Classic, Basic, and Nova to suit different budgets.
In other words, the choice of a bouquet is dependent on individual taste and how much you can afford to pay. For the sake of clarity on what you get on the platform, check what channels are on offer next.

Anyway, Basic is the midrange bouquets with high-quality content packed with entertainment channels – this is the package for those that want to keep up with the Kardashians.

What do i do? My one month subscrition has been terminated before the one month elapsed. I purchased a buquet on the 1st of march 2021 and it prematualy expired on the 21st march 2021.
